Questions people ask

Do you unblock the downpipes in this price?

Yes — every job. We rod-test or water-flush every downpipe from gutter level down to the drain. A clear gutter with a blocked downpipe just pushes water down the wall and soaks the brickwork, so we won't leave one uncleared.

Is that price really fixed?

Yes. The price you're shown is for the gutter clear on the house you picked — there's nothing to pay when you book, and nothing added on the day.

Do you take the mess away?

Yes. The full run is vacuumed and hand-cleared, and the debris is bagged and taken away with us. Nothing gets left in a pile behind the shed.

What if my gutters need repairing?

We'll flag it and show you. Loose brackets, sagging runs and leaking joints we can realign and seal ourselves. Anything bigger — a full re-run or fascia replacement — we'll point you at a specialist rather than attempt something we're not set up for.

How often should gutters be done?

Once a year suits most houses, twice if you're under heavy tree cover or have branches overhanging the roof. Left five years or more they stop being a two-hour job and start being a two-day one.

Can you get to a three-storey house?

Usually, with long-reach poles or a roof ladder — but we won't price that one online. Give us a ring and we'll tell you which method we'd use and what it costs.
